The V-Mate E is the most elegant and high-end model in the popular V Mate line from Voopoo. It is made of metal all the way through, and the front looks like leather. The top cap can be taken off.
The Voopoo V-Mate E Pod Kit has a 1200mAh battery powered by the Gene.AI chipset. It has an automatic power setting and a 20W maximum output. It is easy to use because it has no buttons or other complicated features. It's only turned on by auto-draw. It also comes with two redesigned V2 pods that work better. It has a leak-proof design with two holes and an antibacterial mouthpiece. The kit comes with both a 0.7 and a 1.2 pod.

Quality and design of the Voopoo V-Mate E device
The V mate E is a small pod kit made by Voopoo. Its height is 99.5mm, width is 30.5mm, and depth is 17mm. The device uses the Gene chip and ITO technology from Voopoo to power its internal 1200mAh battery. Zinc, Alloy, and Leather are used to make it.
There is a detachable cap protector at the top that fits well over the cartridge and connects to the main body. The leather panel on the front of the V mate E has the word "Voopoo" etched into it near the bottom. LED lights are higher up, near the top. When you puff on the device, these light up to show you how much power is left in real time. When the battery dies, these go out. The V mate E has a shiny Gold finish on the sides and back. A small "Designed by Voopoo" is printed on the left side, and "VMATE E" is printed on the back with a small "Gene" logo at the bottom. On the right side, there is a small, simple slider for controlling the airflow. The Type-C charge port is on the bottom of the V mate E.
The V mate cartridge simply slides into the top of the device and is held in place by two magnets on the bottom of the pod. Since the V mate E doesn't have any buttons, it has a simple auto-draw function with a puff pressure control. The wattage (up to 20W) automatically adjusts to the cartridge being used to get the best vape possible from the cartridge's resistance.
Cap
The cap is also made of Zinc Alloy, and one side has a leather sticker. The cap will snap into place on top of the pod or cartridge. It has a plug that goes inside the pod to seal it off from the outside world. Once in place, it forms an airtight seal, protecting the e-liquid in the pod from oxidation and thus preventing possible decay. The e-liquid level is additionally visible without removal.
Cartridges of Voopoo V-Mate E
The kit comes with two cartridges for the V mate E. The resistance of one is 0.7 for an MTL or restricted DTL vape, and the resistance of the other is 1.2 for an MTL vape. The cartridges are made of smoked PCTG and can hold 3ml of E-liquid (this will no doubt be 2ml for EU countries).
Because the coils are sealed inside the pods, you will need to buy full cartridges to replace them. To add E-liquid, just pull out the rubber plug on the side at the bottom, fill it, and then put the plug back in.
On the bottom of the cartridges, there are two large magnetic plates that connect to the Vmate E device and two leak-proof air inlets that line up with the airflow control on the device when the cartridge is inserted.
Battery life and charging
It has a 1200mAh battery, which is good for its size. From a completely dead battery, it takes 45 minutes to fully charge, so charging with the Type-C cable is pretty quick.
On the front of the device, there are 4 small LED lights about the size of a pinhole. Every time you vape, it will light up to show you how much battery life you have left. These are what they stand for:

Performance
The VMATE E is a loose-to-tight MTL. And you can change the airflow to your liking by turning the knob on the side of the device. Slide the slider down to loosen the draw, and this will allow more airflow. If you want a tighter draw, move the slider to the closed position, which is up.
The kit, on the other hand, works great. It has a smooth draw, good flavour, and a good amount of vapour.
With the airflow slide all the way open, the 0.7 pod gives a direct-to-lung vape that is pretty cloudy and restricted. By turning down the airflow, you can get a good "mouth-to-lung" vape.
The 0.7 resistance pod provides a warmer vape and a slightly looser draw, as expected. It heats up quickly and produces a lot of flavour.
The draw on the 1.2 pods is slightly tighter, and the vape is slightly cooler. However, the flavour from this pod is equally as good.

Final Review
The V Mate E is a little device as far as pocket-sized pod kits go. Even though this is primarily a mouth-to-lung kit. However, you can use the lower resistance coil and a wide-open air slider to get a very restricted direct lung vape.
The V Mate E is a very elegant pod system that looks great. It's easy to use. It has some extra features that other V Mate devices don't have, like a bigger battery and a way to change the airflow. The V2 pods make a big difference in performance because they are easier to use. It won’t leak and have a slightly better taste. The battery lasts a long time because it has a 1200mAh battery and can only put out 20W at most.
The removable top cap is also a nice touch. It not only complements the design, but it also protects the cartridge and juice inside. When the cap is on, and the smoked window on the cartridge. The E-liquid appears to retain more flavour for the user.
